What kind of airflter is best?

I have been using a K&N filter for the last couple of years. But I have been hearing about some people having problems in dusty conditions. Which is where 90% of my driving is. Any comments would be great.

I have a large, conical style K&N filter on my truck. All I did was remove the stock air box and clamped the K&N filter to the hose that connected the compressor housing to the stock air box. Works very well and flows a ton of air. Sounds very sweet too!! I'll take a pic of the set-up tomorrow and post it later on in the day.
