Well,I've been looking at some bed mats lately to go underneath my camper to both raise it up a bit and soften some of the shock loads since I go offroad quite a bit lately. What are some of you guys putting underneath your campers?I like the 3/4 in. rubber mats but they're kinda pricey and heavy. Anybody putting anything lighter like a closed cell foam pad?

I use a horse stall mat that I buy at the local feed store. I actually took two for the truck, and the cutoff piece of one makes a fine floormat in my shop, in front of the lathe. The mats are only about $35. 00 each.

I don't haul a camper so it is of little concern to me personally however, I have a Mopar bed mat over my Line-Xed bed. The bed mat makes it easier on my knees when I'm inside my canopy covered bed, and adds much desired sound suppression as well.

As KRS previously mentioned, if you are going to carry a camper, I would also recommend the use of 3/4" thick stall mats purchased at any quality feed store. The more expensive stall mats (all black as opposed to the recycled ones) are the way to go even though they cost more. If you ever remove the recycled stall mats they WILL tear all to...

Once your camper is placed on top of the stall mats and properly restrained, it will NOT move.
