... but I will take the savings and put it towards a KORE suspension kit for when my warrenty is over (3 more years).

I put a KORE Chase system on my '01. 5 last October. It's amazing what it did for the ride. Both more comfort & better stability over the washboards. I wish I'd done it sooner. Maybe even before the power mods. It's that good. I wouldn't worry about the warranty. :D

What KORE kit did you get? The HD leveling kit or the RECON series? The only thing I have yet to figure out is how it would tow my Big Tex gooseneck if I got the RECON kit. I just don't want my truck to sag in the rear like a lot of HD trucks do when they get lift kits. I talked to a salesperson from KORE and they said that I should also use Firestone air bags if I were planning on towing a lot. Not what I really wanted to hear after spending $1500 on a KORE kit...

I have the Chase system. It has new rear springs. Talk to Greg at DRC. They are the major dealer for KORE. The new rear spring packs replace the old over loads but if you carry extreme weight you can leave the old over load leafs in.

I just checked their web site: http://desertracingconcepts.net/welcome.htm

It seems the product line has been changed a little since last year. What I have is more like the current Race system except I have Bilstien remote-reservoir shocks instead of the Fox Shocks. The current Chase system now has Fox Shocks but doesn't have the billet aluminum front shock mounts that were in my kit. The rear spring packs look the same.
