Original died at 27K (and fast - had pressure guage in and saw major loss). Put Carter pusher pump in and noe have51K and still cruises at 13. 5 psi, idles at about 16psi. Friends 2002 ETH is ready for 2nd, but we are putting Carter in it this weekend.

Wouldn't put in another lift pump.

I have original pump and it works at the drag strip. I do drop down to 0-2 lbs with the box set on flame. I have 50,000 miles on truck. I have an auxilliary pump in the garage just waiting to go on to work with my lift pump for racing. 15psi at idle 8 psi wide open throttle, normal conditions. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. :)

No feul pressure guage yet. Took mine in Thursday to have it checked. 14 psi @ idle, 10 psi under throttle. 101k-original lift pump. I fill my tank every time I stop, but I also run it down to about 1/4 before refueling.

Just had the stock pump replaced at 118k, don't have a FP gauge yet but it failed after changing fuel filter. Only 1000mi on new one.

I fill up just before the fuel light comes on, haven't used additive, and only recently added the EZ (3500 miles).

I have 127,000 on the original and run 20-50 miles after the light comes on and don't think it matters because you still have 5-6 gallons left 13# at idle and 8-9 at wot.

Have 25K on truck and pump is starting to get weak. No performance mods that would kill it (see sig line) and I have run Stanadyne Performance in every tank but the first 3 when I got the truck new from the dealer.

I can pull the PSI down to 5. 0 a WOT and I cruise at 70mph with 9. 2psi. Dealer says its still with in specs. That must be why I carry a spare pump. My driving habits are very conservative as I drive for economy and longevity.

I usually fill up between 1/4 and 1/8 left and stop fueling when the fuel pump clicks its self off the first time. I dont try to get the most fuel in by topping off as I find it easier to get more accurate mileage results. I also always fill up. I hve never just put in enough fuel to get me where I'm going, like in college when $2 was a "fill up". LOL
