Anyone Knowledgeable About Heat Treating?

Gauge problems

The pain of a belly that is too full of rare ribeye and Sam Adams is a good one for me.

How about shaving your hinder with a cheese grater? Ya gotta try it.

I don't think getting hurt is fun, but sometimes the pain from the healing process is cool. Like picking scabs, or itching under a cast.

Doc

The pain from riding my road bike over a 12,000 foot pass in the mountains of Colorado. Next the that, probably the pain from having too much sex. I'll let you know if it ever happens.

Hmmm. Pain

I like the pain that comes from reading Torque Converter and Transmissions threads.

I like the pain of reading some of Doc’s questions.

Cutting wood, logging with my draft, hauling with my Dodge and putting into the wood stove and not having a heat bill.

Riding my Fox Trotter on a 6-8 hour ride throught the mountains of Wyoming. (Sore ash)

Sitting here in front of this box all day making a living. (again sore ash)

I'd also have to agree with the full belly of steak and beer as well. Fireman: mmmm..... beeeeerrr:D

I like the soreness the dafter a hard workout. . confirms that it didn't kill ya and makes you feel like you did something.

pain !

The best pain is getting tattooed and there is also tooth aches and root canals had my share and all of yours too!

OUCH!!!

I like all physical pain. I have had my hip broken, arthritis in my spine both hips and knees. Had my left knee dislocated close to 10 times. Nerve damage which causes all kinds of cool pain, like lighting bolts, hypersenisitiveity, swelling, numbness, tingling, and some times cant feel a thing. Having 70 staples removed from my rear that have scared over. Having my dad grab the scar about a month after the surgery and twisting it so it would open up again. The pain of putting weight on your lower extremity after 8 months of no weight. Being jumped by five guys, getting mugged with a 2x4 across the back and head a few times. Being thrown from a horse bunches of times, I even jumped out of the back of a Pick up to show some California boys how to wresle a cow Texas style and missed doing a fantastic face plant. Broke a toe while trying to stay up with a young beauty in a dental floss bathing suit in Hunington Beach, Ca. All this and more before I was 27.

Mental abuse is pain I don't like.

I used to be a beekeeper, once you get used to the stings they don't cause any swelling, itching etc whatsoever but the pain is still there for a few seconds. Quite the rush to be stung by fifty bees at once when you know that the pain will do no damage. Got to be that I never wore a beesuit because I liked it so much. Supposedly bee stings will also prevent arthritis.

After a bi-latereral disk herniation, all other pain seems pretty easy.

Not crazy about any pain, though.

Dang Doc. I hope you are kidding. Picking scabs????? Fun??

The only pain I can say I enjoy would be popping my knuckles.

I almost forgot. Getting a small smack on the butt by a beautiful woman during ..... a ... hmmmm... . pillowtop wrestling match. :D
