Leave Prodigy plugged in if not towing?

Shocker receiver hitch, neat idea

O. K. , I know this is not specifically a diesel related question, But! I'm getting ready to order a Cargo Trailer for my new remodeling business. I've decided on the Wells Cargo Express Wagon 8' by either 16' or 20', with 4 ton axles. What do you guys think? No doubt the CTD can pull either one, just wondering about manuverability vs. capacity for this type of work and residential locations.

I have a lot of miles pulling trailers, so the issue is really what is a best fit for the situation. I also know from being a boater/fisherman that you always wish you bought a bigger one (2 footidous).

Let the opinions fly.

I have access to a friends tandem, flat bed car hauler if I need it, plus the trailer will be outfitted with shelves and full of tools, so it will not be practical to use it for other types of hauling.

Hello, my 2c worth,

I have my own building/remodel business, was full time but now partime, (I wont go there now).

I have a 12' enclosed, the best investment I ever made in the business. I thought I would go w/16' but dealer had a better buy on 12' so thought I would try it, if I didnt like it I figured I could sell it close to what I paid.

If you work in the city much you will find out trying to put a 20' trailer in a 22' driveway alot of fun (not) my 12' is awsome for manuverability and parking, I have been able to get into side yards when you just couldn't have gotten a 20' in there. I have no regrets for the smaller size after 3 years. There are times when 12' is packed to the ceililng but usually unloads at the job or home. I put 4 utililty boxes on wheels and one fold down counter. I can unload everything in about 8minutes and fill w/dirt bikes and gear. I will try to send pics, after 13 years in construction industry, this is one of the best set-ups I have come up with.

Hope the book above helped even a little. see ya.

i currently have a 8'x16' pace american and it is a great trailer altho i wish it were bigger. i dont think that either way u can go wrong. but i think the 20' would be ideal especially if you are to put shelves and some boxes in there. the added room of 4' will do wonders. and carrying trim, lumber, doors and windows will also be of ease compared to the 16'.

what are the price differences between the 2?
