What lift for 38" Toyos

I'm thinking of going with 38" toyos and I'm wondering if anyone is running these tires and if so what lift they are using? Also what size wheels and backspace?

I'd say a 6" superlift with bilstiens. I know they work fine with 37's. Also the fabtech with dual shock hoop with DL 2. 5" would look sweet

If you can fit a 35 with no lift, I would guess a 4"-6" lift would clear a 38 without too much trouble.

They are 15. 5" wide. I'm really not looking for guesses, trying to get input from people running this size.

I think you will rub with a six inch, unless you keep the stock wheels. I would go with a 8" to clear with no rubbing and aftermarket wheels. Been there, done that. Wheels are the key to your success.

I'm running a 6" superlift with a 3" body lift. 38" Toyos, 20" Weld Dakars, 10" wide. I love this setup, no problems at all.

before Greg passed away, he sent me a PM to say the following:

As for the Technical Series will offer 5. 5 inches of lift and 10 inches of travel. You will be able to clear 37 inch tires with stock fenders. Pricing is still not available to us but I would guess around $7500. It will be in between the Unlimited and the Race.

Well if their 2. 5" leaf/coil lift is $5,000+ I'd say $7,000+

Just Search around here. There's a few guys running a piced together 8" lift and it shouldnt cost you $7,000 for a Super Duper Kore Diesel Racing Truck Suspension.



P. S Thoes fancy Fox shox cost only cost about $160 each
