Spent a frustrating hour or so looking on line for a factory engine manual either for the Cummins or Ram versions. of the 6.7L engine in my new 2016 2500 TD I have no Idea how much carry over from previous years or if they made a lot of changes to the engine. Can any one make some suggestions or have some working links a couple on google are no longer working.
Thanks

Service manual or owners manual?

I doubt there were any significant changes to the engine itself, there was a running change to the scr cat from early 15's,Now minus a sensor and module. We haven't had printed manuals in years, only cd/dvd's

Mostly the engine manual whether hard copy of CD. Thanks will check the link out,."factory engine manual either for the Cummins or Ram versions. of the 6.7L engine"

We have a Cummins factory service center around the corner and up the road a short piece from my house. I think while I'm out and about today I willstop in and see if the even make them for the 6.7L"s they have been around along enough that there should be one published. As far as the truck One of the haynes or other ones should cover the body stuff.

well after having a fun filled 15 minutes on the phone. Went to the factory Cummins dealer they can't sell me one since they can't order them only Chrysler sells them ,but the local dealer no longer sell the hard copy manuals, they gave me an 800 number that leads to the tech authority which is a mopar company. there was nothing on their web site. So I called the 800 number. they have nothing available other than their online subscriptions $1,800 a year or $25.00 with a slight discount for a number of other packages. Talk about wanting to keep all the money rolling in the doors!

Thanks PTsideshow. I have never used Haynes manuals. Always had the manufacturers manuals. However, I did check the Haynes site when I couldn't find a Mopar manual. They have a '09-'14 book, but I wasn't interested in that one.

Tech authority has the service manuals on cd. 2016 Ram pickup isn't listed yet. I did find my 2015. When you go to the website, select year, make, and service manual. Then look on the far left and select service cd. Then scroll down. Eventually you'll come to Ram pickups. I'm sure the 16 manual will be available shortly. The cd for my truck wasn't available as late as April of this year. I'm sure they figure it's still in warranty so you don't need it yet.
