Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What mod is next for me?

With everything listed in my sig, what do you think that the next mod for me should be. I am in the works to do away with the HX-40 for a SPS 62 from II. Just installed new trans this week and now am looking for more power. The truck smokes pretty badly down low in the rpms now. Just doesnt have enough bottom end for me. I dont want it to coal out black smoke so bad that it isnt driveable around town. I had my mind made up to go with the SMARTY but after all that I am hearing about the problems with SMARTY and autos then I just dont think that is the route that I want to go. what do you guys think my options are? I would like to go more with a chip or programmer if possible.

I would definatly do an aftermarket exhaust manifold along with the new turbo. As far as another chip or programmer You already have the juice w/attitude you are limited to a programmer like a smarty or superchip. Do not be turned away about the smarty and auto transmission issues you just need to adjust your driving habits just like you will with the bigger turbo ect. You could consider 130 or 150 hp range injectors also with the turbo you are putting on. You will need new cooler boots also. The stockers are probably about done for if you havn't already done them.

What do you think is a good going rate for one? It is only about 6 months old at the max.

Use your HX40 and put a s400 below it for a twin set. IMO that will most likely solve all air supply / EGT problems up to around 550 hp. Might spool too slow for you though and head studs are a minimum.
