I do my own oil changes as most of us do, but I have not found out what I need to grease. I have a $100 Chrysler manual and it says nothing about it. I own a 99 4x4 quad cab.

I have a 2001. I crawl under my truck every chance I get and grease the upper ball joints, the track bar. Look for every grease fitting you can find and just grease them until the rubber boot begins to swell. I do not believe in lifetime no lube steering joints. Unfortunately, the factory does. Be sure to lube the door opening hinges often to prevent sagging worn hinges on a quad cab. Those doors are heavy. Use a good synthetic or marine grease and you should be good. The most critical part is the track bar which has a very difficult job to do and carries alot of weight, stress. Hope this helps! Tony G

I suppose you have the dana 60 also. Mine has 5 zerk fittings that need to be greased. I use a "air powerd" grease gun with a flexable connector. The one on the drag link (if thats what ya call it) is kinda hard to get to. Sometimes just turn the steering wheel a bit and it get in a better position. Only takes a few minutes to give all a shot of grease.
