Go to Taco Bell for lunch today , come out and saw a puddle of green stuff under the rig... figured it was from someone else till I saw it still dripping! #@$%! Appears to be water pump, hope it ain't that plug under the fan hub mount likie Justins truck. Cummins says just shy of $200, including frieght, sound right? Vacuum pump 2 weeks ago, 6 speed and clutch last week, WTH is going to go wrong next week !!!!????

You sure it wasn't A/C condensation dripping into somebody else's green spill?

That happened to me, lifted the hood and remembered our coolant is orange. Scared the crap out of me!

Nope, flushed that nasty orangish/ pink stuff out 80 k ago. Refilled with Prestone, looked it over before I went to Cummins, yep the pumps a leakin'!! Guess I had best go get on it, have a haul in town this evening after the Super Cross event! Oh yeah, Cummins wasn't kidding when they said around $200... . they were off by . 16! :{ $200. 16

Well, that has to be one of the easier repairs on thses trucks, also threw a new T Stat at it while I'm there. Will finish flushing out the radiator tomorrow morning. Have some flush agent floating around in there now. inside of the radiator, water pump and T Stat openings all looked brand new !! So I guess it was just one "of those things" that the pump decided to spring a leak when it did!

Thanks guys!! Nope, not watching the event, just helping the U. S. Smokeless Tobacco guys out, there dorf is broke down up north somewhere and hauling their GN to a local truckstop for a few days. Should be out racing myself tonite, but after the last few weeks I need some positve cash flow for now.
