Yep. 3894 Stratapore works fine. That's what I've used for 5-6 years. FWIW - As a matter of fact, one time I went in to Cummins SW and just asked for a Fleetguard filter for a '96 Ram Cummins. The guy handed me a 3894. I asked him if that's what Cummins recommended and he said that's what his book showed and that's the filter they always used in their shop. I get all my filters from Geno's these days. Keepin' it in the family so to speak. :)

I have used the various Fleetguards and Baldwin filters. I have had problems with Fleetguards losing their o-rings when I go and take the old filter off. I almost didn't catch it the first time, glad Dad got me into the habit of taking a rag to the mating surfaces before putting a new filter on. Anybody else had that problem?

Ya I did

The first time I ever changed out my fuel filter I forgot to check and see if the O-ring was on the old filter and just screwed on the new filter. Needless to say I got about 20 feet from my house before I started shooting fuel EVERY WHERE. Well lesson learned :D

I think it was the Fram filters that had this problem.
