I can't make out the top that well but if it has tabs on the top like it looks like it does its a homemade job so it could be a ten just not a usuall ten

it was a $40 special, the guy said that he bought it from a local diesel guy and had it in his truck but took it out when he sold it, if its a homemade job it looks better then any homemade job i could ever do, it does have the tabs on the top and bottom, so what do you guys think about it

i want something thats not going to be super hot and ok with my new stock clutch and turbo, as is you think it will be ok, still give me power but be manageable

Looks like a home ground stock plate.

The upper ramp on that plate isn't a deep, and looks to cut the fuel back on top faster than my TST plate. Doesn't appear to be as a gressive. Play with the plate position a bit, and I think you will be able to control the EGTs with your right foot.

PS, I sent you a PM over on the TDG, if you haven't already seen it.

A actual 10 plate will give a 94-95 stick truck 220hp/570tq and will not cause temp issues. It looks like a hacker made 10 that you have and I am not sure I would try it. If you look around a bit you will find one for sale at a good price. Why hurry, good things come to those who are paitent. I just sold a 10 at the SEEFood Challenge a couple of weeks ago... . Andy

The pictures your showing here I saw on one of the other Dodge sites, home ground. His theory was, quick acceleration on the bottom, and as the lever rode up the plate it would defuel a little, to keep EGT's down and as it broke over the second rise then it would fuel hard if you were at WOT. I don't think it had a number assigned to it.

After seeing this I was wondering if a smaller 2nd step would work a little better. Course it defeats the EGT theory.

actually the pictures here i took last night, thats my hand, and my kitchen table, but that aside what do you think of the plate should it be good to go in the truck or not?

looks like it will be fine. It's just differnt than one that you would buy. Judging by the pic it will be pretty soft on bottom and defuel pretty heavy on top also. I'm running a more aggressive plate than that on a stock auto so I'm sure it will be ok for a new clutch.
