There are plate charts on the TST and Piers sites that list the power ratings for the plates in the different pumps according to the year and transmission type.

According to the charts the #6 brings a 180 hp 420 ft/lbs of torque pump out of a 97 automatic to 250 hp 630 ft/lbs of torque. I just recently installed mine and it works well. I notice however from your signature that you have a GSK as well as a few extra goodies and adjustments so who knows what you are squeezing out of that particular engine... Time to hit the dyno... .

I forgot to mention that when I was considering a GSK kit, every installer I talked to stated that they wouldn't install it in any vehicle without at least a #4 plate. They said that without a deep fueling plate you can't hardly even get into the added RPM's due to the lack of fuel at those levels or something along those lines... . with a smaller plate such as the #6... Have you found that to be true?
