what rear str.seat to put in 93?

i want to put rear straight seat in my 93
club cab. what the best some say chevy(ill pull the name tags)or Furd.
brackets?, fit, help , kids dont like
the jump seats,if anyone has done this
i ll need details

I have a chevy rear seat in mine. Its a little large. Its fine while the kids are young, once they become teenagers there is not enough leg room any more.

I don't know the year of the truck the seat came out of. I bought it at a off road truck store in DeLand, Fla(Truck Stuff 1(904)736-3803). I paid $125. 00 for it in 3/96. I'm guessing very early 90's as the seat looked brand new. They were selling both ford and chevy seats at the time. I used the stock mounting bracket but reversed the sides that they were on so that the foot of the bracket would sit down into the jump seat well. I used a bracket made by unistrut (pn P1546) to mount to the foot of the seat bracket and then mounted the unistrut bracket to the floor of the truck with a reiforceing plate underneath the truck. If the stock seat bracket is used this allows the seat back to be folded down and then the whole seat swung up against the back wall of the cab when not needed.
The chevy seat is on the larger size for the amount of space behind the front seats. I have the captain seats and the center console. I moved the passenger seat and center console forward 4 or 5 inches to allow more leg room for the back seat passengers.
I would consider the Can AM Cruisers seat or the smaller ford seat(the early ford extended cabs had a smaller seat then they do now) if I was doing this again. I bought a set of the seat belts that they were using in the extended cab Dokota.

I also got my aftermarket front buckets and rear seat from West Coast. Also if I remember right they said that the seats came from a manufacturer in the Kelowna BC area. My back bench is a comprised of a smallish bench with a thick backrest that uses HD Velcro fastener to attack to the rear bulkhead. You just position it at the right height and your set.
The rear is really not that comfortable but a darn site better than the jump seats.

Can Am Cruisers make an after market seat for the club cab dodges. There is an advertizement in TDR 16 pg 49.
Bushwakr's rear seat sounds like one of their seats. They are located in Kelowna,B. C.
