Hello everybody,

Well, the holidays are coming up and I am thinking about asking the better half for some seat covers. The greyish blue seats are still in excellent condition, but they are starting to deteriorate very slowly.

I thought about some sheepskins, but they don't make much sense in a pickup truck. What else is available? What are your experiences and preferences?

Heck, what do you guys use?

Thanks!

~Chris

I use a folded blanket on the seat and pull T-shirts over the backs. I use the ones I buy at rod-runs. They are easy to remove and wash or replace with new/different ones.

The Dodge seat covers fit great and if you call Doug at Dave Smith Motors 1-877-572-7870 and tell him you are a TDR member he will take care of you. Tell him Sam sent you. :D

IMO the Wet Okle cover are the sh..... :) best looking and most comfortable covers I have ever sat on. Unfortunately the price keeps a set out of my truck.

I tried the covers Geno's offers (I think made by Covercraft), and they are a nice, durable cover. The did fit well, but they did not fit tight enough for my taste. I think I will be trying the Dodge covers next. Most everyone I've talked with said they fit like a glove.

My $. 02,

I've got the Dodge seat covers and I love them. When I clean out the inside of my truck I take them in and throwem in the washer and then let them air dry. I paid about 200 bucks for the fronts and rear, and also got the one to cover the center seat in the front. They have map pockets on the back of the front seats and a pocket on the front of the center seat. Next to my Power Max 2 and 275 hp injectors these are the best mods on my truck.

chris, dodge dealers sell some terrific canvas seat covers with the dodge logo that are made by covercraft, you could go to their website and not pay the dodge upcharge i'm sure, i bought the dark gray from dodge and love them, entirely velcro attachments. john

Geno's.......

Just put them on this weekend. They fit tight enough for my taste. I actually like they grey color better than the checkerboard that dodge puts in em. Price was right and I like the map pockets in the backs of the seats and the one on the front of the little seat. They even had a cover for the console but then you wouldn't be able to open it?????

I've had the Wet Okole seat covers on my First Gen Bench for 70,000 miles now. They look great and perform well but I'm finally starting to wear through the top level of the neoprene fabric in the drivers seat. After 70K some of the black from the neoprene is starting to show through. They also require a bit of UV protection to keep from fading... I'm not very good at applying UV protection & this could be contributing to the wear also.

Love them otherwise... .
