I was looking through the driver's wheel well, liner out. There is a sensor with some green plastic and one wire attached. It looks as if there is a spot for another wire on the sensor but I don't see it in the harness. It is just below the stock fuel filter housing and just forward on the driver side of the block.

What sensor is it and should there be only one wire attaching it? I am not setting any codes that I know of.

thanks in advance.

Looks to be the oil psi switch. Since it's not a sender only 1 wire is needed. It grounds thru the block, and sends a ground signal to the ECM when pressure is above 6 psi (well to be honest I don't know if it's normally open or normally closed).

thanks. It is the oil pressure switch that feeds the ecm that tells our high quality oil pressure gauge on the dash
