Every 3k oil, filter and grease.

Every 5k fuel filter

Every 20k transmission service

I gotta get around to changing diff fluid sometime.

p m schedule

p m = preventative maintence

5k oil and filter and grease

60k trans diff transfer

It has worked for me so far

on my tahoe... [all in km's]

5-7k - lube, oil, filter

20-25k- fuel filter

diff's, trans, t-case get a bi-yearly fluid replacing [& filter on trans]

battery levels checked 2x per year

[i'll have about 80,000km on my 'hoe when it is 5 years old. 16k / year average]

Every 5k oil and filter

Fuel filter every other oil change

Trans fluid and filter @ 30k

Figure diff service at around 50k

Truck doesn't see any towing or dusty/hard use, mostly empty driving.

Need to grease that thing one of these days... ... DOH!

Oil and filter every 5K - going to Delv. 5W40 synthetic w/Strap filters and will then change every 7. 5K

Fuel filter every 15K

Transmission every 30K

Diff will be at 60K

Truck driven mostly highway miles and at least 15 miles one way before shut down. Daily driver and no towing and light hauling every 10K miles :)

Synthetic engine oil every 10k plus Bypass/Full flow filter, Fuel filter. Synthetic ATF every 20K, Synthetic gear oil every 20k. Tranfer case every 20k

Seems like 'my own schedule' is leading by a pretty good margin.

What a shock since this board pretty much contains a bunch of 'I'll fix it my damn self' rebels. I personally love that about us.

Far as I'm concerned, just about nothing man's built that I can't take apart, figger out how it works, and fix it!

Think of DC's maintenance schedules as 'suggestions'... ..... :-laf

Fuel filter - Every other oil change

Trans - will be every 30k (only have 6580 on the truck now!)

Diffs - changed at 2k so probably every 30k

I bought mine used with 35k miles on it.

Oil (Delo 400) - about every 7000 - 7500

Filter (Cummins) - every oil change

Fuel (Cummins) - every other oil change

Lube - every oil change

Rotate tires - 5-6K

Flush brake system - once a year, usually equates to 22K

Oil & Filter - 9-10K on the oil, 5K for the filter

Differential and Transmission - 30K

Chassis Lube - Twice a year, or as needed.

Power Steering - Once a year

Coolant - 24 months

Fuel Filter - 12-15K

Hinges, locking mechanisms, rubber stripping, etc. 2-4 times a year

I also use injector cleaner in every tankful of fuel. I started doing this when I added the EZ and the injectors.

I'm still running with the original serpentine belt and hoses that came from the factory. I carry spares on long trips.

Oil 4k

fuel 8k

transmission 40k

front end 6 months (I am getting water in it and I'm too lazy to change the drivers side seal. I let it go for a year and had rust on the cast pieces. )

Rear and trany 20k

Oil/filter and grease every 3,500

Fuel filter every 7,000 Fuel lube every tank

transmission,T/C,and Diff's. every 25,000

Rotate tires every 10,000

Bought the truck new in October 1998 (21 miles). Forty six months (and 162,000 miles later) all I have done - other than p. m. - is change the fuel pump (at 130,000). No real towing or hard work, just lots of driving. I did haul 3,200 pounds of concrete over 400 miles once - now THAT was fun.

This is what's gotten me here.....

Oil - 7,000 miles

Fuel - 14,000 miles

Coolant & transmission - 50,000

Tires - 89,000 & 73,000 (need changed now)

Valve Adjustment - 100,000

Getting ready to do some work (new shocks, track bar, steering shaft, brakes and tires).

Still, this truck is the envy of all men in town. :D

Have a hour meter on the truck. Change oil and filter every 100 hrs. Figures out to about every 4000 miles. Plus or minus 200 miles
