So I have PDR street twins, a TST (with Twin program) and just added a Smarty today that I got from a friend to try (before I buy). It smokes like a MOFO even with the TST at 0/0 with the Smarty on #8 or #9. I downloaded the latest versions of the software for the Smarty, and updated my truck. I haven't driven it yet, but wanted some suggestions on what the best settings for both the TST and Smarty would be for max power, and then what setting for best driveability without crazy smoke.

Thanks!

It will be hard to get the fuel you need without CP3 mods but you can still make good HP. I like running my Smarty on the lower levels and use the TST for topend and that makes me more adjustable for daily driving. Plus with my manual its better on the lower levels since it can get pretty jumpy without TM. I run mostly smarty 60 with timing TST 5/5 and EZ 1, when I need some power I run TST 7/7 and EZ3 works perfect for me.

Do you get the marbles in a tin can sound from all that timing?

Does yor tst have the adjustable timing feature?

Nope, I was afraid to run the timing settings with the TST on at first, I tried it both ways, smarty odds with no TST and TST with smarty evens, I just turned the tst on to check how much timing rattle there would be but there wasnt a whole lot more that with it off? I have been running it like this for a long time with no probs at all, just better power, driveability, and way lower EGT's.
