Hi, All:

Time has come to replace the shocks on my '98 2WD Quad cab. I'm wondering what works well and what people like.

I like Bilstein's, but I've heard that don't work real well on these trucks. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I just put bilsteins on mine, and love them so far. I haven't hooked the trailer up yet for a true test drive, but they sure did put an end to the continued bouncing after a bump.

I had a 98 quad 2wd, long bed. Put bilsteins on at around 24K miles, loved them. Sold truck with 90K miles on it, loved them. bought new 2002 2wd long bed 3500, The bilsteins at 90K were still better then the shocks on the 2002!

Buy them, you will never regret it.
