 I am thinking about selling my 98 clubcab... from my signature what should I ask for it???

Thanks, Kevin :D

What you should ask is for a good 'ol Sooner born boy livin is Wisconsin to come and get it for a 12 pack of 3. 2% beer. :D

P. S. is this the same truck that was out in Phoenix about a year ago?

hey there,

Matthug has the right advice... However, i'd give ya 7K cash, right now. whatcha think about that?... . lemme know... 'course it'd depend whether the truck runs or not, and how the interior is...

But seriously, you might fetch 12-15k for such a truck... . good luck, let me know if you want to take a tdr offer... -arthr

WOW. . . I thought I was the only odd duck who prefers the Club Cab! I own not one but two of them. . . give me a solid 2-door cab over a flexi squeaky Quad Cab any day :D

That's right Forrest, my truck weighed in right at 6140, including the canopy. I figure it's just a skosh over 6000 with a full tank of fuel. It's about 250 lbs lighter than my '01 shortbed 4x2 Quad Cab but it was a 6-speed.

Ditto. Mine's solid as a rock, and no squeaks. No problems getting in and out of the back seat, because I do the driving.

Quad cabs rule. Sqeaks, flex?!?!?!?!?! Not on my truck. Have fun trying to get stuff in and out of the back without a door. :-laf My dog could of never gotten in my truck without those doors.

The cab on my '01 4x2 flexed a lot. If I stuck my fingers sorta between the window frame and cab I could feel a lot of movement pulling into driveways and what not. Doing the same thing on my 392,000 mile '96 there's no shifting or movement at all. The cab feels noticeably tighter than my '01 did at 50k miles. Maybe some QCs are stronger than others but the two I owned (had a '98. 5 QC for awhile) were creaky & sqeaky when going off road.

It was important enough to me to find a Club Cab when shopping for the '98 it took me a long time to find just what I wanted, since about 3/4 of the '98s are Quad Cabs. I ended up having to go to Southern Cal to find just what I wanted, a '98 CC shortbed 4x2. Since it was difficult to find a NICE truck that was fairly loaded I didn't care if it was 12 or 24 valve (I did find several trucks matching my criteria but they were either plain Janes or in poor shape or way overpriced). Since the right truck that came along happen to be a 12v that's what I took (I found most CCs were 12-valves, there isn't many 24v Club Cabs because by the time the 24v came out most people were getting the Quad Cab).
