Adam, since youre stuck with an automatic instead of a manual, all the power you add to the motor is going into the destruction of the transmission, not onto the ground! Dont waste your money, please... make the auto as efficient as possible and use the power you have already (trust me, you aint feeling it yet!) Call Bill K. and build a real gearbox first... . then do the motor.

I have heard of alot of people on here bombing automatics? I'm just curious what people think that I can do to my automatic?
I want to be able to pull away from the fords, from a stop and runnin down the highway. Around KC missouri there are alot of PSD, they just seem coinseded about their trucks. Please give me some insight

Call DTT, and get one of Bill K's Torque converters and valve bodys. Do this and not only you will be happy, but your transmission will thank you also. #ad
Putting in Bill K's TC and VB will allow you to bump up the power safely so you can take care of any powerstroke that you find.

You are definitely on the right track.

I agree with what everyone has told you
on the transmission upgrades. It is the
"weak link" on the automatics.

After you get your transmission taken
care of I would highly recommend the
370 Diamond B Marine Injectors. They
REALLY wake these engines up! However,
when you do that have a reputable shop
"recalibrate" your P7100 pump to those
injectors. I think the governor and AFC
spring kits should be added too. I believe
your engine is rated at "160 H. P. " and
these pumps do need the upgrades.

After you do all this, the Ford PSD's
in Missouri had better look out!!
You will definitely be pleased with
the results.

Good luck on your BOMBING!

This web site has Really good info on it.

I have a 1995 with a automatic trans.
I have already installed the tst #6 plate, K&N, Stright pipe, And gauges. The tst did a world of good.
But like everyone else I WANT MORE.
What should I do next? I have a transgo shift kit, but I have put it off in fear of making obvious modificacions. I just had a new DC trans and TC put in under aftermarket warrenty. I'm just confused on my next step, I want to make the right one. Or should I get some injectors?
well thanks in advance

My brother in law can tell you from power boosting 5 converters 3 transmission rebuilds shift kits.
after the 2nd rebuild and 2 converts he finaly installed a under body cooler with sensors & over ride switch to control the cooler fans--then he completly by passed the factory cooler and the responce was like nite and day did the trailer come loose ??
The restriction was gone. . I might add long befor this he had replaced the factory line's to the oe cooler.
