How can you tell when a Service Writer is lying ???



His lips are moving !



I haven't found one in the last 5 yrs that knew anything, or had any scruples.

I knew one once that would actually listen to what I said and realized I wasn't an idiot. We got along great, and why not, I was actually doning his job for him. Life was good, then the dealership changed hands and the new owners cleaned house. I've now gone to every nearby dealership and can't find anyone that will listen. They don't want to hear what I think. I even gave one a tsb# and he said that they had never heard of it ! They can't fix my truck and they always find a way to squeeze money out of me on warranty stuff I have finally given up, it's cheaper and often faster to do it myself.
