I try to get the reading I think I will have on a gauge to be in the middle of the gauge.
My boost towing is about 10#, but can go to 35# easily, so I got a 60# gauge.
Fuel psi I set at about 14#, I got a 30# gauge.
transmission temp around town runs about 175* (~150* in lockup), got a 350* gauge.
EGT I try to stay around no more than 1000*, I got a 1700* gauge.
Diff temp towing in mountains runs about 200*, gauge goes to 350*
Fuel temp runs around (mine, that's another thread) OAT +10*. OAT in FL runs 30* - 95* generally 80* ish, gauge goes to 150*
Oil Psi hangs out about 80 psi on cold start to about 40 psi idle to 60 psi running, gauge goes to 100*
