I just tried to remove the IAT on my 2001 ETH . The largest deep well socket I have is a 7/8 and it's too small. If anybody knows I'd appreciate it

Answer 13/16 inches or 22 mm will work just fine torque 10 ft lbs Ron Bissett in LOUISVILLE KY:D thats 13 not 11 sorry thanks for your answer. Ron

Maybe I'm not looking at the right sensor the one I thought was the IAT is in the block under the intake manifold on the drivers side. The electrical plug is too large to allow me to get even a deep well socket o it or am I all hosed up? (it's happened b4) :)

Wheelintoy.

Thanks for the help. I had been looking at the map sensor and not the IAT sensor. The pictures helped a bunch. Once again thank you

Thanks wheelintoy for that link. I was able to quickly locate mine. I have 90k and no exht brake so it wasn't nearly as dirty as that one one the link. But, none the less, it did have a carbon buildup on it. It was amaizing how clean it came out after two squirts of carb cleaner.

I am one of those people plagued with the 16 mpg. I have only an EZ and no matter how soft I drive it, I have never gone over 16mpg. It doesn't bother me that much, but this will be interesting to see if I break over that 16 mpg milestone.
