2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission what size tires

Hers my dilema right now I have stock rims with 285 bfg a/t's which equate to 32. 9 inch tall I am putting on 19'5s but not sure what to do they make a 245 whish is 32. 9 inch tall and dont really fill wheel well that good but I really want to go a little bigger which there is a 265 which is 34. 3 inches tall I think that would look great on my truck. ? is would I notice much difference in low end from what I have now I just dont want to kill transmission on bottom with having 355's as in my signature or did I already take the hit with the bfg's that are on there now

With all the bombs in your signature you better be able to smoke those 265/19. 5's.

cant lots of lag with 355 wish I had 410's my friend has dually with 410's and 22. 5's on it and he can

Yea, looking at your sig. , you shouldn't have any trouble in the go dept. HOWEVER you will prolly need to start bombing the brakes. Seriously, when you get that large of tire/wheel combination the unsprung weight at each corner goes way up along with the centrifugal force of each wheel (flywheel effect). You will need to look in to upgraded brakes to keep the same stopping performance.

Not only unsprung weight, but increasing the tire diameter while the brake drum/disk diameter/performance remains constant significantly reduces braking ability. It's basically a leverage thing.
