Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What the heck, Diablo Powerpuck plugs into injection pump harness???

I was told that the Diablo Powerpuck for 2000 models added timing, however, I just received my Powerpuck and it plugs directly into the VP44 and then you plug the stock harness into the Puck. Wouldn't this be a fueling box then instead of timing or am I confused?

The original Van Aaken timing boxes plugged in the same way. Plug the VA into the VP44, and the original harness into the VA harness. Worked great, just use some dielectric grease on the contacts.

It also turned up the low end fueling curve, but did not add "extra" fueling like pump wire tap boxes do.

So it would still be alright to stack one of those type boxes with like a TST Powermax box that taps the pump wire?

yep, should work just fine. if it's like the VA it is just timing and the tst box is just fueling. everything should just plug in fine.
