Hindman, Calipers will stick and have pressure on the rotor causing more wear on that side. Be sure to clean & lube the sleeves as well as the bores they fit. An easy way to tell if a caliper sticks is AFTER a ride jack her up and spin the wheels... do they rotate the same or does one turn less.

A sticking wheel after a ride can also be cuased by the brake lines. They start to decompose inside and will only alow the more heavy pressurized fluid to flow through. So it will work just fine but is slow to release. The problem usualy worsens the more heat that the fluid has in it. An easy way to see is pop the bleeder of the dragging wheel and see if it frees up afterwards.

I put the carbon metallic pads on my truck Saturday and they work great, but my truck pulled to the right before I changed them. when I looked at the old pads, the left side had no pad left, while the right side had over half still on it. I changed them both, but what's going on? I have 34K on the truck now, but I would hope that my dealer would help me out in some way? does anyone know anything about this... thanks.

Mike---Did you have any pull [maybe to the left] when you were not using the brakes or did you only get a pull to the right when braking? Were you hoping that the dealer would help out with some warrenty?I don't think so, usually 24000 on brakes. Like has already been mentioned, make sure the slider bushings are good & lubed properly [silicone grease] and use something like antiseize on the metal surfaces that the caliper sits on.

Ok, i will try this over the weekend, and let you know... thanks

no it only pulled while breaking. It seems fine now. I thought maybe the dealer would have some advise for me about this. I didnt really expect them to give me any cash or anything. My dealer has been great. everyone bashes some dealers. If i had to, i dont think i could say one bad thing about them. They are small, but they really take the time needed to fix me up.
