Well, don't I have a valid point??? A Koozie is a Key necessity in the cab of a truck. Maybe it's just a Texas Thing... . Someone let me know...

The electronic shift on the fly 4x4 is a bad idea. I can imagine being stuck out in the woods and that little electric motor fails. HA, first it is pretty pricey and not nearly as reliable as a mechanical level and locking hub assembly. Now, my second gen has the lever and this worthless vacuum (unreliable) assembly for engaugement. Well, you with go with the posilok and trash the vacuum or locking hubs... now thats a real truck... No more CAD!
 
Mike- Dynatrac? sells a kit for the 3rd gens to convert to manual hubs. They are pricey but someone was doing a group purchase for these, i have not heard an update lately on that though so i'm not sure.

Brought a memory to mind too ... ... ..... Back when we were younger and offroaded 3 or 4 days a week, I put a hurst fist shifter on my transmission and x-fer case in my '79 460 Ford. My buddy had a '76 390 Ford and wanted one for his transmission ... ..... (I had to make the threaded bushings, because the busings it came with only fit trannys in cars, not trucks) ... ... ..... I said "dude, you need 2, one for the x-fer too!" ... ... ... ... ole Jonny Hutsler said naw, I got my own shift knob for the x-fer :-laf



He had a 12" dildo slid over his x-fer shifter ... ... ..... talk about getting a rise out of the girls! :-laf :D
