How much manifold pressure does the 06' CTD make?

Anyone had any trouble with the 06 automatic transmission?Just how strong are they compared to the older ones?Will they half to be bullet proof to hold up? Now I am talking about the automatic with the cummins engine. I hope It stronger then the engine??I got one ordered and getting Itchey waiting for It. Found this picture of this Ford truck that looks a little mean. Any of you seen one,I have not seen one as yet.
 
The 2006 truck uses the 48RE (been in use since 2004 model year).

There are only very minor changes to it, to allow it handle engine braking (the optional Jacobs/Cummins exhaust brake)

The 48RE is a very strong transmission, however it is just like the Ford TorqShift or the GM Allison, if you start adding more power from stock all three will need to be rebuilt with stronger componets.



Right now I rank for durability 1. 48RE 2. Allison 3. TorqShift



The Allison has had its share of problems and we wont get into the reverse pin backing out in the Ford unit knocking a hole in the case. The 48RE has been almost bullet proof when kept stock.
 
That makes me feel better

I don't plan adding horsepower and will be stock. I have a 1995 Dodge automatic with the 12 valve cummins In a Scotty Motor Home and did have the trans bullet proof at 40,000 miles. It just felt lazy and always took It time to go In overdrive. It now had a 3 stsge tourque converter plus the valve body beef up. What a difference now. Thank for the Information the 06 should be here the end of April I guess. :{

lets have more info on this, if its true it wouldn't be the first time GM has hyped something that really sucks and acutally convinced most people its great
