what the trailer worth

i am looking at a trailer with the name pierce on it its an 84 tandem dual trailer single jack 25+5 brakes that works needs new wiring (works but old) deck is ok the metal is rusty. do you think its worth $3000. seems to be in fair shape for its age. . thanks for any help you might give

Just for comparison, I bought a used 2003 Take 3 37' gooseneck 2 car hauler for $4,750 in perfect condition with maybe 16,000 miles on it. It's probably an $8,000 trailer new. This does not sound like it is worth $3k if it is rusty and needs a lot of work.
