What thermostat do you use?

Geno's offers two thermostats for my '01. One is 180 deg and one is 190 deg.



I've had the temp run up to redline on me when towing a horse trailer, and this was prior to the performance mods I've done. Now, with summer and horse season coming on, and the coldest part of winter over, I am thinking of replacing my thermostat and the 180 degree one seems to make sense.



Opinions?

I am thinking about a 180*

I am thinking I will change mine out to a 180* the next time I change the coolant, because in the summers, she pegs 190* empty or loaded. Doesn't get that cold here and I have heard that running a 180* might help fuel economy.
