Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What Timing???

I was wondering what I should have my timing set at. I do alot of towing and looking for so more MPG. At $3. 59 a gallon I figured I would try this and see if it helps. The truck has a few mods(see below). And also do you know of any shops in S. W. Florida that will do this? Thanks

From what I've seen 15-17 is the range that most are doing .

If all your mod's are listed the max I would go is 15. 5. After you have more air and fuel you can move up, but it still depends on the mod's. I just recently reduced my timing from 23* to 19* now I am going to go back up to 21* for better top end.

Mine was bumped to 16 & it made a full 1 mpg improvement on my truck plus feeling a little peppier
