Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What to do

Need a little help figuring out what to do. I have a 4LEK holset turbo that is compaired to an HX50, so im told. What kind of psi am i looking at and would it work with my setup i will do. Ill go with DD2's and head bolts. Do i need a gasket and O-Ring? Will i be able to wastegate or get the housing right to be able to run that turbo or should i just go with something else? I have the transmission and VB done also, should i get the input shaft. Im looking for around 430-450HP. Thanks for the Help.

That is pretty large. Would you not be worried about turbo-lag

The turbo was cheap. What about a smaller housing that would help alittle or would there still be alot of lag.

I think that is how they do the hybrid types. Large intake with a smaller outlet, but I think there is a fine balancing act when doing this. I still use my stock HX-35 as it has not died yet.

I have the HY turbo though. What about the input or output shafts. I might do a little pulling now and then.

I don't know, you might want to give Rip at Source Automotive a call. I know he deals with turbos and should be able to answer your question.
