OK this is the plan. I have an 02 qc 4x4 LB auto. 108k on the clock. stock besides fp pyro gauges. Currently had dead petal and possible vp44 death :(

The Goal is: Reliable and economical under average driving cond, but able to Tow 9k to 11k with decent acceleration and maintain speed of 70 with the OD on.

Its this a pipe dream or can it be done pretty easily and some what inexspensive. This thing is no drag truck but it would be nice to atleast hang with a PS or DM.

Post your Ideas and what combos you think might work.

Our best setup for a driver/trailer tower would be to:

-Replace your injection pump with a Bosch rebuild

-Blue Chip FMS

-Bosch 275 Injectors

-Upgrade Turbo to an HX35 off of a standard transmission truck

-Goerend Bros. 3 Disc Torque Converter & upgrade VB, along with a quality transmission rebuild

If this is too much $$$ your priority should be a torque converter upgrade & an Edge Comp box. The reason I recommend Blue Chip for daily driving & towing is the low fuel pressure warning, high exhuast temperature fueling backdown, & adjustablility over the Edge Comp box.
