What to expect in 100,000 miles

the ifs depends on if your running big tires, more power, off roading. a shop i work for had 5 chevy trucks and a couple are over 200k with one close to 300k. all base truck gasser 2500's with 5spds. the owners gmc lost a trans and t-case.



the only trucks ive had to put money into were my 2 12valves. my current one runs amazing but the paint looks like hell. it will see 300k easy at this rate.

Lost another u-joint in the hub. Ordered up 2 acdelco super strength greasable units, we'll see how these hold up. I wish CTM or OX would make some u-joints for our trucks.

03 Ram 3500 with 82,500 on it has had the following replaced all under warranty:



-3 injectors

-FCA

-Alternator bracket

-Adjustable pedals assembly

-Clutch (TSB for rattle)

-Power steering hose

-Steering box

-Steering stabilizer

-Shocks

-Timing cover gasket to block

-Flash updates

-Water pump (occured two days ago)



Other than that nothing other than normal maintance. I haven't had any problems with u-joints/vibrations as some others have yet (knock on wood)
