Can anyone out there. Tell me to expect by installing a D. T. T. valve body? Iam going to install one along with a mag tech transmission pan. As soon as the transmission gets broke in. I also plan on switching to synthetics at the fluid change.
Will the v. b. make it shift firmer? What about putting the power to the ground?
I also plan to put in a tc when funds become available.
I love my new cummins and want to take the best of care for it.
Is there any place I can get info on the cummins performance vs powerstroke and that new Chevy Isuzu powerplant?
This has got to be one of the best websites I ever been on.

the DTT valve body is great--changes shifting points w/ firmer shifts and let's the truck use its power longer--if you get the torque converter(I highly recommend it) you won't believe the power increase with the combo and if you add the EZ box--you'll flat out be smiling--these 3 things make a great combo, IMO, for our trucks--of course this is just the start of your BOMB process so go get some guages-especially the EGT as a minimum--
In the new TDR mag there's an article talking about RAMS, phurd & the gm--there wasn't a lot of technical data, but a good article nevertheless---YES this site is GREAT--info galore with super people---chris

Looks like we're neighbors. I'm about to do the same to my '99. DTT items sound like a good way to go. I plan to call Bill K. to discuss my upgrade program and put all parts together for a compatible package. Remember, gauges first.

Some one posted a week or so ago a 25hp gain to the rear wheels on a stock truck with just the DTT TC and VB

Hey Big K I'd be highly interested in what Bill K. has to say. Could you post it on this forum or e-mail me? Also would you know of anyone that could install a pyro? In this area. Or how about any good diesel mechanics? Thanks

The amount of available power being lost in the stock transmission is absurd. The DTT VB and TC will unleash this power to the rear wheels. The VB alone will increase line pressure and firm up your shifts.

Hey movintruck and Big K,
If you want to see up-close and personal performance comarisons of Dodge/Chev/Ford,then you guys have to come out with us (NW BOMBers) to Abbotsford B. C. for Dyno Day next month (Apr 21st).
All kinds of things to see and the trucks runs on the dyno are fun to watch.

If you go,just make sure you cross the border before the silver '98 truck with the big word "BOMBER" across the winshield. The border patrol may detain him for a bit! Hehe! #ad

I'll be ahead of you Scott... more power buddy! #ad

..... guess that'll mean Mike will be... "Leader of the pack" #ad

movintruck, a DTT VB will be the best money you will ever spend on your Ram, except for say a DTT TC! Both are awesome products and backed by exceptional customer service and the word of a true gentleman!

PS: Darin, there is NO WAY you're gettin' my "93" back (that is unless your pryin' it loose from my cold dead fingers). #ad

movin , installing the DTT VB will not increase the power put to the ground , that is only affected by the TC while unlocked , once locked all TC act exactly the same .

what the DTT VB will do is increase pressure so the the trans will react better and increase the pressure that will help hold the TC locked to prevent slippage .
