What to use to clean plastic chrome rims?

just wondering what is best to clean the brake dust off without cobbing up the ultra hi-tech chrome (cough cough... plastic) rims with?

I use good ol Windex on my plastichrome wheel covers. Shines em right up.

Plastic rims??? The only plastic wheels I ahve seen are the 20" . 5 ton wheels. My 04 ands 05 are for sure machined and chromed aluminum. The hub caps are plastic.

Dave. I think they are reffering to the dually wheel covers. In which case, I use Never Dull, then buff them till they shine like glass. Never Dull actually works good on stainless step bars and exhaust stacks and tips real well too.

Turtle Wax chrome polish. It's cheap and takes any water spots off.

The chrome steel wheels are a black steel wheel with a plastic chrome facia, the center cap is plastic as well. I just use was on a soft rag, seems to work pretty well.

the wheels are steel the cosmetic covers are not completely plastic.

my driver side wheel three different times the chrome covers chipped or came completely off. they have all been covered by warrenty. dodge does a horrible job when they put the covers to the wheel in the plants each time I had a problem with a wheel cover I popped them off with a screw driver and each time the glue/epoxy was less in some spots and more in others. so It makes me wonder for those out there having tire balance problems. my 2 cents.
