just ordered all 4 shocks from geno's garage

on a 99 2500 4x4 if it's easy I will do if not I will take some where

I don't remember the socket/wrench size, but use some penetrating oil prior to removal of the rears and the lower bolts for the front. I just changed mine last fall and actually broke a 1/2" extension on the rear passenger shock, they were that hard to break free. The front passenger is easy, just remove the air box and take off the shock tower. The driver side is tough as there is more stuff in the way. Good Luck
 
19mm socket and 6" extension for the lower bolt
15mm wrench for the towers
alen key for the shock shafts
I'm not sure what the bolt size is on the shock shaft
