Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What transmission came in the 96? 46RH or 47RE?

I have a 96. Wondering which came with it? Mine has the OD off/on button on the dash.

RH only came in 94, 95. I don't think that the OD button location made a difference. My 94 46RH has it on the dash too.

When in doubt, look at the ID tag on the door or the glovebox, one of them should have it on it.

Be carefull there were some rhs in 96... ... ... . A dealer can run your vin and tell you what you have

If the connector on the trans that is mounted above the shift lever is a flat three wire it's a 47RH. If it's round with 10 wires it's a 47RE.
