Just wondering on what people think of there transmission they are running or plan on buying down the road?

Just looking for the good and the bad whether it be customer service, reliabilty, strong, weak, whatever lets hear it.

Its for the truck in the sig. Plans for the truck consist of: Daily driver, maybe a sled pull once or twice, tow 20k maybe once or twice a year, plan on buying a 5'ver down the road, trying to be around 450-500hp range, NO racing or boost launches.

The top three trannies are the ones i am considering depending on results and info i gather between now and the time i buy.

Please keep thread civil... THANKS

Oops... Don't know what i was thinking putting Southbend in there. I meant for that to say BD.

Maybe a moderator could fix that. As i don't know how... THANKS

I had my DTT trans. installed back in 2004 and I still feel it has been the best upgrade I've done on my truck. The trans made the truck absolutely fun to drive. I had a question once on my transmission and left a message for Bill K. , he called me back and answered my questions and gave me his cell phone number if I had any other questions. I really feel you need a good installer to set these built transmissions up. I'd call DTT to see if they have an installer near you. If I had to do another Dodge trans I would lean towards DTT again but I'm hearing allot of good things about Goerend's trannys these days.
Regards, Mike.

I don't run an automatic but I do know folks around here that do. From talking with them I'd highly recommend you give Dave Goerend a call. That said, you can get a good unit form any of these vendors.

I've been running a Goerend VB and TC for a couple of years now, and it's performed flawless. We put billet shafts in it last Sept, and the inside still looked like new.
