What transmission is this?

Out of an 03 or 04 truck (not sure which one). Numbers off the side of the case are PK52854003AA 2473-1778. I called a dealer and they finally came to the conclusion (after many questions) that it was an 04 model which meant to him that is must be a 48RE. He originally stated the diesels only used 48RE from 03 on up (which isn't correct).



Anyone have the ability to look this number up for me?

Any auto truck built after 1/1/03 or right around that date has the 48re, even the CA SO motors.

That PK # is for a 48re out of a 04.
