Edge Comp Installed - WON'T START! Please HElp!

I'm planning some upgrades on my '01. Time for a new heavy-duty transmission rebuild with the addition of an exhaust brake. I'm bumping up the power a bit as well and should see about 425HP. What is the best turbo that will give me the ability to spool up quickly and flow at the top end to bring the EGT's down when towing?? The truck weighs about 8,000lbs the way she sits most days. I tow loads loads 10-12,000lbs every so often and my EGT's are getting high with my stock turbo. I would really like to be able to use the Pacbrake that mounts at the turbo. What is working best for you folks??

Thanks!

Get rid of the HY35 it has a 9 CM housing, I went with a PDR Hx 35 12 cm housing. I m not near 425 Hp but it spools quick and lowered the EGTS

Make sure that you get a 4" turbo to match your exhaust , then I seeem to remember hearing about going with a remote mnt. but do remember why , I'm in the middle of adding EB also still gathering info and $$$.

HX 35 wont flow enough for 425 and neither will an HX 40. I have looked at just about every turbo that is on TDR and I am going with II's 62mm turbo. Price is low, flow is high and it is upgradable to the 64 if I remember right to. I read about one guy have 475HP USUABLE for towing and 550 or so for racing. Great turbos and they have me convinced

Neither a SPS or HTB2 with a 62mm compressor will flow enough air to support 475 hp with safe egt's. I ran a 64mm as a single and usable power (<1250° pre turbo) ended short of 400hp. You could push that a little wiht water, meth or NOS but you're kidding yourself to think you'll be able to sustain 475 with one below 3000 rpm.
