Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What turbo? power questions

HI guys,

I have a stock turbo on my 95 1 ton. I want a larger turbo that will just bolt on. please feel free to school me on turbos, sizes or anything that might help me. I want more power I have a #10 plate and 370's. Any suggestions for more power would be appreciated. Thanks

HTT chargers. Can't beat their customer support. I would think a 64/14 would be a good choice. A 62/12 would be a great choice if you want a little faster spool up and not as concerned about EGT on top. Do yo uhave a GSK kit in the truck? More RPM equals more airflow required.

Well he would need an HX40 downpipe but other than that the HTB turbo's are drop ins.

The real question needed answering here is what are your power goals? Will you be happy with just keeping cool what you got now? If so I agree a 62/12 is an excellent choice. But if you want to upgrade more in the future maybe go with the 62/14 or 64/14, maybe more if you want more power!
