Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What turbo to purchase?

I find when towing is is fairley easy to get the egt's up to 1300. My 5er weighs 6800 lbs. We don't have a lot of hills in central mich. but when I do hit one up the temp goes. I am assuming I would need to install a larger turbo to help with egt issues. Am i correct?

If you currently have the HY 35, a swich to an HX 35/12 would be the economical rout to a little more air & lower drive pressures. When you add more BOMBs you can switch to a 14 cm housing.

RE: Phat Shaft 66

Your HX35W is not much better than what you have. You may want to try a Phat Shaft 62 or a super 66. Depending on what you are doing with your truck.

If you go with a hx 35 go with a PDR HX35 flows a little more air spools up quick too.
