DTT Flexplate?

i dont know if this has been discussed or not but i am always gone and dont have the time right now to search all the forums. i have a '01 with stage 3 110 injectors, afe stage1 cold air, ats intake manifold, edge comp w/hot box, hx 40-35 hybrid turbo, boost and egt gauges, all of which is stuffed in front of a 5 speed. i also have a fass pump that i will be putting on soon. what i want to know most is besides twins what turbo might be a better on for me for play and towing??? i understand that there are some vendors on this site but i mostly want consumers opinions. thanx now i got to get back to the oilfield its always calling...

HTT has been a great company to work with. The 99 in my sig runs their htb2 62. Great street manners, a little slower than factory, but you will only notice that for a couple days. Made more hp than we thought. No problems to date. They will get more business from us when we need a new turbo.

i really like my SPS 62/14, im set up about the same as you, it spools a lil slower than stock but it pulls really hard, and i realllllly have to work at it to get it to 1400.

i am now putting on a stage 2 cold air and water/meth also, i think i am leaning towards the aurora 2000 as i can upgrade it to twins without having to buy both turbos later... would still appreciate more imput from you guys thanx...

Get the best all around Turbo...

Industrial Injection has been working on twin set ups and the SPS 62 is the primary turbo, so if you get a SPS 62, it would be like getting the aurora 2000, but a SPS 62 is a lot stronger and rated for "a lot" more HP and will support anything you can throw at it up to 600 hp or until you have the money for twins, with the aurora 2000 your kind of limited. No doubt the Aurora 2000 is a good turbo, but like I said your pretty limited. As soon as I. I. gets done testing their twins I plan on adding to my SPS 62 and having twins... I talked to them last week and it won't be long before their twin set up is up for sale. I would get the SPS 62... :-laf

You really do have a lot of options when it comes to turbo selection, even if you are wanting to upgrade to twins later. The hybrid S300 turbos that have been recommended to you up to this point are externally very similar. If you are wanting to go twins you can buy an ATS 2000, II PS62, HTB2, BD, forced inductions, etc etc. There are plenty of kits out there to upgrade your new turbo to the secondary in a set of twins. ATS makes a kit for their turbo, BD makes a kit, I am sure power by poole would sell you one of his B1-B2 kits minus the B1 turbo, Source automotive sells twins kits to add to a turbo you already have, apparently II is coming out with twins.

Don't limit yourself to one manufacturer because they are right there telling you buy me because I am part of a twins setup. Most of the primarys you buy in the 62 range will work in a twins setup.
