I've been trying to decide for some time now. I'm running really big injectors and the egt's are easy to control sort of. I had an hx-50 and max EGT was 1500 but spool up was very very slow. I've been thinking about a KSB or an HTB2 but not sure. I want quick spool up. I know twins would be ideal but that just isn't practical for me right now with my college money situation. (beer needs to be cheaper!) I know I problably need twins but for right now what would be the best single with quick spool up? Thanks

Eric

I ran an HTB2 62/12 on my 01HO with 130 HP injectors, and towed 12-13K. Only time I had an egt issue was below 2000 RPM in 6th gear. With the Stage 4's and your comp on kill it is still going to get hot, but running that set up can't be done for long before your well in the 100 MPH range, unless your pulling a load, or headed up a mountain.

I know it will get a little hot but I'm pretty good on stopping myself before I get it glowing!lol How was your spool up? Thanks for the reply

Eric

The htb2 62/14 works good on my brother's 99 too.

If you have ability and some tools twins can be made fairly cheaply. I know a college student in OK that made his set for $1400. Hx35/Ht60 It takes some ebaying and time.

If not the HTB2 is a good turbo.
