What turo is it

Just wondering what turbo my 90 five speed 4x4 has.

89-90 models had the H1C with an 18cm2 exhaust housing.

It should have the 21 housing. The 18. 5's were in the 91. 5-93 trucks as far as I know

92's are the only ones that had the 21cm housing.

93 models - 18. 5 cm exhaust housing





The addition of the IC boosted the power enough DC was worried about their wimpy drive train. Bigger housing slowed down the assault. Too much complaining about power, lag, etc so 93 went to smaller housing and they figured to eat any problems as the new design was on the way.



I believe all should have the H1C ompressor. There may be some slop over between years on the exhaust housings as that is not an exact science. Also consider these trucks have been around for a while now and it is hard to tell what has been changed for whatever reason.
