I keep a 5lb ABC handy, couple 2 1/2 in motorhome. No fires I couldn't handle in shop for 40 years. Beyond that.....run!
Nah, really, just need to keep a cool head and not freak out. Always had to have 2-5lbs in semi as I hauled haz-mat, but when annual training came up.....always told em, I ain't a fire fighter, pull the release on the king pin and pull away. LOL!

LOL....I saw a bunch of MH's go up in flames at a storage facility... WOW! They were melted down to the frames in no time. Thx

Not that you shouldn’t be prepared for all situations, but in all my years I’ve never seen diesel fuel from something like your filter change catch fire. In my experience, igniting diesel takes quite an effort. Now, once it is lit, yes, she’ll burn. It takes a match or a lighter directly on it several seconds to ignite. A spark won’t do it. It might ignite fairly quickly if, say, a high pressure line ruptured and sprayed fuel on a very hot exhaust housing or manifold.

Thanks Scott....I did not know that. I feel a bit more safer knowing that. And you are correct, just being prepared for "all situations" which might happen on the road.

what ever you buy be sure to use the supplied mount. I had one stuffed under the back seat in my 2018. it had a plastic safety pin that broke and it went off when I stuffed something else under the back seat. lucky because it was laying on its side no dry chem came out, but it could have made a mess :(.
it was a kidde marine b:c
