What type of mild pressure only box??

I'm currently running just a Smarty and would like to add a mild pressure box. I've heard great things about the VA 3. 1 and was favoring such a box but have also heard good things about the Edge EZ. Would the Edge be a good solution with the Smarty?

Ive had my EZ on for a while now but on the 325 hp motors they are adjustable inside the cab whereas your 03 you have to take the plate off the box itself under the hood which makes adjusting power on the fly hard, but you can run lower safer levels. I run mine on lvl 1 until I need it then I flip the switch.

I've tried the Edge EZ and the MP-8 stacked with Smarty. I prefer the MP-8 due to better adjustability. You might look at the SP Diesel products as well as Van Aaken too. They both seem to have great quality boxes.



I think that most would agree that least aggressive would be the Van Aaken, followed by the EZ, and TS MP-8 being the most aggressive. Of course, that's relative to what you have it set on!

Save your money... ... ... The smarty beta version will do it all. I ran it down to the Baja 500 last wk-end. The rail pressure ramps up much quicker than stock but stops at a safe level. The power comes on very quick but still smooth. As for mileage who knows... ... ..... I was testing with a big smile,talk about a run for the border :-laf:-laf:-laf. A bed full of adult refreshments and firewood , plenty of power,south of the border... priceless.

I have the EZ and like the multiple levels of tuning. the 03-04 boxes can be made to adj. in the cab for about 30$ pm if you want instructions on the in cab mod.
